Tag Team Politics,
Well folks the fur is flying. The democrat debate this week was
knock down and drag out and I seen some fur flying. Actually it
was an exercise in capitalism bashing. Barak Obama has his work
cut out for him. He’s fighting the tag team champs of politics,
the Hill-Billy Clinton team. Billy-Bob hits him high in the
media proclaiming Obama’s stances on Iraq are fairy tales and
her highness hits him low in the debate about a long time
campaign contributor Tony Resko “the slum lord” who goes on
trial for numerous corruption and extortion charges next month.
Obama stood there and took it too. Hey Barak, two words, Chinese
contributions. How about two more words, Norman Hsu. Shall I go
on? The list is very long. That was the chance of a lifetime you
had. With all the scandals of the Clintons and their
administration you could have nailed her to the wall. Obama, if
you can’t stand up to the Clintons then how the hell are you
going to deal with the tin pot dictators of the world not to
mention Vladimir Putin and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? The Democrat
party is now divided with a civil war going on about race. The
Clintons never promoted African Americans in their
administration. The only one was Ron Brown Secretary of
Commerce. They turned down the ex-mayor of Atlanta Maynard
Jackson who wanted to head the DNC. Instead it went to Howard
Dean, there’s a stable choice, hoo raahhh! Then there’s Carl
McCall who was running in the primary for New York Governor and
the Clintons and the DNC left him hanging for cash. The excuse
was that he could not close the gap on incumbent Governor George
Pataki, so… no cash for you! They never did anything to help
inner cities especially in the schools. The National Education
Association, (the teachers union) wouldn’t have that, oh no.
They might lose some jobs, screw the kids. When it comes down to
putting their money where their mouths are the Hill-Billy tag
team come up way short on the I feel your pain shtick. The
Clintons are out to get the uppity black guy and will stop at
nothing to do it. So Barak, how does it feel to be attacked like
a conservative? This is how liberals distort the facts and lie
about conservatives and republicans. I love this stuff.
Personally Barak Obama to me seems like a really nice guy. I
wouldn’t want him for president because he is a liberal and his
vision for this country in my opinion is wrong. I would vote for
Condoleezza Rice for President. I voted for Lynn Swann for
Governor of Pennsylvania. He lost of course because he’s a
conservative republican and according to the liberal democrats,
“off the reservation”. In a fair world this will come back to
bite the Clintons in the butt, but I won’t hold my breath.
John McCain! Okay I get it. The media loves this guy and wants
to tell conservative republicans that this is the guy who should
run for president for our party. The lame stream media love this
guy because of his liberal views, ideas, and proposed and passed
legislation he has introduced into congress. Let’s start with
McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform. This legislation has
done more to destroy free speech in this country than anything
in our history. No ads from any group or person mentioning a
candidate’s name 30 days before a primary election, and 60 days
before a general election in a federal election. That is what
the free speech clause in the first amendment is about,
political speech. This is the incumbent protection act. He voted
against two major tax cuts. Those tax cuts would help promote
economic growth. He aligned with Ted Kennedy on the Amnesty Bill
for illegal aliens; the 600 plus page bill congress tried to
shove down our throats in the dead of night last summer and
denies that it was amnesty. Straight talk my rear end. His
alliance with Senator Lieberman on global warming, the
McCain-Lieberman Climate Stewardship Act would impose an
arbitrary cap on America's main sources of energy production, so
if a power company goes over their quota then they have to pay
more taxes to create more energy and guess who that cost would
get passed on to. He also doesn’t want to drill for oil in Anwar
or off our shores. How can we be energy independent from the
Middle East without doing this? He wants to move the prisoners
at Guantanamo Bay here to the States and treat them like U.S.
citizens and tried in federal courts. He has undermined the
republican leadership in Washington more than any other
republican in history. I would like to hear some straight talk
on these issues. So basically when the lame stream media likes a
republican a huge red flag goes up in front of my face. The
media hates conservative republicans, always and forever. So
whatever republican the media is for, I am against.
Back to her highness. She said this week that if she became
president, the federal government would take a more active role
in the economy to address what she called the excesses of the
market and of the Bush administration. The queen proclaimed, “If
you go back and look at our history, we were most successful
when we had that balance between an effective, vigorous
government and a dynamic, appropriately regulated market,” she
went on to say, “and we have systematically diminished the role
and the responsibility of our government, and we have watched
our market become imbalanced.” A government regulated market?
When the hell was this? This statement is so void of the facts,
I don’t know of any time in history when the government
interfered with the market let alone regulated it. She then
added, “I want to get back to the appropriate balance of power
between government and the market.” Balance of power? What
country is this? The Soviet Union? These statements aren’t
liberal they’re communistic. This is scary stuff folks.
President Reagan said the scariest phrase you could hear is,
“I’m from the government and I’m here to help.” This is turning
out to be a very interesting and lively presidential campaign. I
just wish that more Americans were paying more attention and
realize that if we’re not careful the country we know and love
could morph into something undesirable and then it will be too
late.
God, save us from the Queen!
